Year 6 students at St Clare of Assisi have taken the school motto, Be the Light, into the modern era. Each week they use the marvels of technology, and the light spectrum, to record the school’s very own, online, news report.

Parents tune in each week to view the YouTube telecast to see what is happening in their vibrant school. Student, parent and teacher interviews regularly feature, as do excursions and school events. Students script, interview, film and edit the entire news bulletin. An interview in the Green Screen Room with the Director of Catholic Education, Mr Ross Fox, recently featured in the school news.
